Bao Wei, a master of abstract art, studied under teachers such as Zheng Kai, Ding Yi, and Fang Lijun. He i s a member of the World Federation of Artists and the World Artists Association, the vice chairman of the
Shandong region of the China Abstract Art Alliance, a member of the
Calligraphy and Painting Art Committee of the China Popular Culture
Society, the honorary director of the Haikou Guoyiwei Calligraphy and Painting Art Museum, and the chairman of the International Celebrity Encyclopedia. He is also a member of the French International Artists Association. He has been included in the "Honorable China" and "Prosperous China, Revival with You" commemorative edition stamp albums.
